Crisis

In July of 1989 I was a thirty year old young military wife, a stay at home mother raising two daughters and a son. I Don’t Live in a Bubble

I don’t live in a bubble. I know that eating nutritious plant based foods, raw foods, low in fat, no animal based foods (or at the least high in quality low in quantity) no fast food, no fried or anything in a can, bottle, box or a bag processed foods can leave you void of imagination and creativity. Conditioning or Reinforcing Target Behaviors

In psychology, this is called operant conditioning. Put a piece a cheese at the end of a maze and see how long it takes the rat to learn the maze. If you have a dog, you probably have used this method. Give your dog a bone when it displays the desired behavior. I successfully used conditioning with my aggressive cat to trim her claws. Diabetes What you Need to Know

Years ago I was at an evening social function when a woman came in with her two young grandchildren. She sat at the table with her plate of food but seemed dazed. She fumbled around trying to cut her food and acted as though she could not see in front of her. I went over to assist and found out that she was diabetic and had not eaten all day! Her grandchildren sat and watched in fear as we quickly got her to drink some orange juice. She explained that she “just didn’t have time to eat”. Click here for the full article.

Mastering Simple Health

In my journey to reclaiming my health there were many opportunities to become discouraged. I was in the worse shape of my life and there were multiple things wrong with my body. At first I was reading, learning and applying as many things as I could with no specific order. I was drinking more water, exercising, etc. but I did not have a strong health and wellness protocol in place. Your First Line of Defense

October is breast cancer awareness month. Simple Health Ministries was born out of my own personal pursuit of reclaiming my health and preventing further disease. I was living with twelve years of chronic, debilitating illness that culminated in breast cancer, stage two with a rapid dividing cell.
