I am a bit behind the times but, I am almost through season 7, binge watching Mad Men on Netflix. I think I would Discover the Regionhave liked being part of the creative team.  Bring ideas together, story boarding, conversation laughter, controversy until finally, the idea.

We all share the human experience of; the feeling we get with a smell, a song or a picture.  Happiness for that moment in time.  Think about some of the products from the past that today still create a feeling for you.  The basic concept is still alive today.

Branding Genius : Coke “Teach the world to sing”, Kodak was everything you need for capturing family enjoyment and reliving over and over “for the times of your Life”.  Apple’s, Get a Mac campaign- just to name a few.

Potential clients want to know you and trust you. We have more opportunities to connect at our fingertips with Social Media. Selling yourself with a blog is one way to connect with an audience.

The Hard Sell
Potential clients are savvy and very skeptical. We are inundated with information 24-7.  Sell your product by letting people get to know you.  Write your blog about a hobby you have, information that will help them, sports, family, a movie and you will build interest in people who have the same thing in common.

Quotes
Quotes are always a great way to start the conversation. Asking a question is another good way to draw a new or current client to want to find out more.

Tagline
Come up with a tagline for your business and include it in your blog post every time.  Ask trusted friends or colleagues to read it and make sure it identifies you and your business.  Keep it consistent, it takes time for a brand to take hold.

The Close
Here is where you take the opportunity to promote your business. Include business name, website, phone number, your name, and tag line.  You can also include a link to other professional organizations you are involved in as well as any non-profit participation.

Blogging is a simple way to allow people to get to know you. Branding your business, evoking that feeling that will remain with them and remind them “Everything is Going to be okay”.
